Overview
The Sasan Ultra Mega Power Project owned by Reliance Power is the world’s largest integrated power generation and coal mining project. Located in the district of Siddhikhurd, Madhya Pradesh, India, the project has 6 supercritical coal-fired power plant units of 660 MW each. With a power plant capacity of 3960 MW and a coal mining capacity of 20 MT per year, the project is the world’s largest integrated power generation and coal mine project and the fourth largest operational power plant in India.
Encotec was entrusted with the major overhaul of its boilers and auxiliaries and annual overhaul of its turbine-generator auxiliaries.
