Bhopal Dhule Transmission Company Limited (BDTCL) has been publically incorporated in 2009. It is involved in the transmission and distribution of electricity. BDTCL has built four 765 kV single circuit and two 400 kV double circuit transmission lines that would strengthen the transmission system in the Indian states of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat. The transmission lines were built on a “Build, Own, Operate and Maintain” (BOOM) basis, wherein the transmission lines would be commissioned and the Company would operate and maintain the same for a minimum tenure of 35 years.
Encotec was entrusted with the operation of the 765 kV/400 kV substation at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India.
